Of course I'm "truthful with him". Why shouldn't guys know about menstrual cycles? As a matter of fact.... this might be a great way to learn a lot about him early in the relationship. How he reacts to your news might give you a window into what kind of man he is. Is he respectful? Matter-of-fact about it? Or is he immature and silly? Even perhaps embarrassed?
I'd like to know these types of things pretty early in the dating process.
Obviously tell the truth - what, do you think he's going to freak out if he hears the word "period"? If he is, then he must be 12.
Just tell him that even though one of the rides is temporarily out of order you haven't closed down the entire amusement park.
Be truthful obviously. Sheesh.
