Question: Period help(girls only)?
I have been having my period for about a year(never regularly). I always have 2 34 days apart for 8 days, then I skipp 3 months and jump right back on track. I know i:m not pregnant because i've never had unprotected sex. I read online this could mean a serious deisease or brain tumor. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm scared.

Aww honey don't worry yourself! I first got my period when i was 13, it was completely irregular for about 2 years but its completely normal! When i first got my period, it lasted for about 7 days and then i didnt get it again for 6 months. I got it the second time and then it was atleast 3-4 months before i saw it again. It would come and go at unknown times so you just have to always make sure you are prepared! (keeps pads/tampons with you at all times) Once i was about 15 my body started to regulate itself. It's just your body going through changes, coping with the hormones and all the other developments of a womans body. Dont stress, there is nothing wrong with you :) Im now 22 and my period comes every 4 weeks as it should! Good luck, you'll be fine.

Experience

Don't be scared, and don't listen to the other person!! If it is only your first year or two, it's very very normal for it to be crazy and all over the place like that. Mine are extrememly heavy, and skip all over the place too. I've only had it for a year, and mine last 9 days. Sometimes it starts on the 9th, others the 16th, 20th, it's all mixed up, but it's okay. Most girls experience this, and I can 90% guaruntee you it's not cancer, a "serious disease" or a brain tumor. If you are really nervous and are stressed out you need to ask your mom about it. That should always be the first option before Yahoo. Talk to someone you trust if your mom is unavailable. But I'm telling you, it's perfectly normal, and I'd only worry if it continued for more than another year. It should only be like that for 2 years tops. Good luck!

I was irregular for the first year or so and had a similar experience and I was fine. If you are worried see a doctor for advice, there's no harm in doing that. Don't look on the internet for advice like that though because it's hardly ever accurate and just serves to scare you!

You have only had your period a year and most periods take about 1-2 years to become regular so do not worry there I'd absolutly NO reason to be scared and if you really are nervous Judy go to the dr

No dont be sacared i had the same exact problem and im totallly fine you wont get. A brain tumor. Youll get regular soon. It took me two years to get regular.

I'm extremely sorry but all sign point to cancer, you'd be lucky to live another year.
