What does it mean when a women has pregnancy symptoms but is not Pregnant?!

Question: What does it mean when a women has pregnancy symptoms but is not Pregnant?
Yesterday I started my period which was 8 days late and had to go to the emergency center because I had severe cramps, vomiting, high fever, and chills. Today I still feel very nauseous and sensitive to taste and smell, dizziness but no cramps. I have already taken 4 pregnancy test. 2 at home 3 days before my period and the other 2 at the doctor's office, but all came out negative. I notice my periods lately have been very irregular and unusually heavy. I told the doctor everything and he ran more test, but he said it was just a bad period. I think it could be something more. Any suggestions on what I should do?

The mind is a powerful thing. Some women can focus so hard on pregnancy that their body begins to act as if it is pregnant. Others just seem to notice vague pregnancy symptoms that become more pronounced the more they think about it. My advice to you is to relax. Just chill out for a while and see if things don't get better. If they don't, go to a doctor and tell them adamantly that you want concrete answers. If you do feel better, try not to stress out too much. :) hope all ends well.
