Birth Control? Help with how it works?!

Question: Birth Control? Help with how it works?
I missed my birth control last night and took it this afternoon. then i took my usual tonight. Should i be worried? If i had sex before am i at more risk? If i have sex tomorrow, will i have a big risk? Help?
Thank you

From what you tell me, as long as you took your tablet as soon as you remembered and it was under 12 hours ago, i would say that your chances of being or getting pregnant are next to nothing. If you have sex tomorrow if you took the tablet within 12 hours of missing your other one, you should be totally fine. However if it was over 12 hours ago and you haven't taken the active tablets for the previous seven days on a new pack you could be pregnant, but highly highly unlikely!, if you had taken the tablets for seven days or more since your last period i would refrain from having sex for at least a week and if you do plan to, use a condom as a precaution. I reckon, from what you tell me, you should be fine. Good luck

If you missed one of your active pills and took it more than 12hrs after you were due, you are not protected against pregnancy for the next 7 days so use a condom. If the one you missed was one of the first 7 active pills and u had sex during the 7 days before you may still fall pregnant so seek medical advice

I think you wait a day or so. It may depend on the birth control I'd look at the packet you get with the box. Or look up the name of the birth control on google.

i dont think so .. as long as you took the pill b4 the day you missed it then day after no need to worry
