Can a yeast infection clear up on its own?!

Question: Can a yeast infection clear up on its own?
I'm coming down with one from being on antibiotics. I don't want to spend a lot of money buying a thing of Monostat. Anyway around where it just goes away on its own?

Answers:

It CAN clear up on it's own, but it takes longer. Try to get the store brand version of monestat, you'll save 30% or more usually and it works just as well. I took antibiotics and the same thing happened to me and that is what I did. Took like 2 days to clear up, better than waiting it out though.

It's possible if it's a very mild one. I have only had a mild one in the past and it went away after a few days. After I got off the antibiotics. But if it isn't mild, I would suggest getting something for it or going to the doctor. It really would be better to treat it than to have to deal with it. A yeast infection can get pretty nasty if left untreated.

I'm a woman and a nurse :)

I get them from time to time and always let them clear up on their own. The cream you have to use to treat it is messy and it makes you feel uncomfortable, it can take a bit longer but it's up to you and how much it's bothering you. I hope this helps.

It can clear up on it's own by use of the bodies defence mechanism but it can take a lot longer and the symptoms are quite unbearable. Best get it treated and feel better a whole lot faster.

Not sure if there's a permanent cure. However, you can look into some home remedies that can help with the symptoms like Tea Tree Oil, Garlic and Vinegar.
