Question: I'm on the pill but im due my period and i dont want it yet...?

I stopped taking my pill on monday for my week off...im due on my period and my boyfriend is coming to stay and id rather not have the worries etc of my period. If i start my pill again tonight as soon as i get home which means i would have only had 4 days without it will it stop my period? Or is this a really unhealthy thing to do?

Hi, theres no problem taking the pill back to back (ignoring the inert pills). You could try and take tonight but it may be a too late...

No too late - you should have just kept taking it this month if you wanted to miss your period
