I have had that happen to me too! I went in to get checked by a doctor, and she diagnosed me with PCOS. It stands for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, which is when you have small cysts on your ovaries. There's a lot of symptoms for this. For example, if you have heavy bleeding, extremely painful stomach cramps, acne, being overweight, facial hair, or irregular period cycles. I don't have all of the symptoms, like being overweight or facial hair, but I still have it. My doctor recommended me a low dose of birth control, and it has helped so much! (: I think you should go see a doctor though, just in case.
Call your doctor
It could be something as simple as your body weight (like in my case I'm too thin to produce adequate amounts of estrogen to support a normal cycle)
or it could be you got a problem down there! If you don't have a doctor, get one, it's about time.
ive also experienced that before,sometimes women sometimes have late periods. its normal. but if you think that there is something wrong,try going to the doctor. :)
