a girl of any size can enjoy breast implants. skinny girls just look like hookers and get them too big.

Nope, you do not have to be "skinny" to get a boob job. However, a good surgeon will ask you if you are at your ideal weight and shape, other than your breasts. If you say no, they will suggest you come back to them when you are your ideal shape.

I'm an AA and that's what took place at one of my consultations. He was by far the most competent of the surgeons I had met.

Also, shop around. Go to somebody who specializes in breast augmentation and who has either been recommended or is a choice by other surgeons. Ask a nose specialist who he would get to do his boobs, and he'll suggest another person. You may have an awesome consult with one person and immediately dislike another.

Also, find out if anybody in your family was a late bloomer. Say your cousin sported a small B before she turned 26, and then suddenly she went DD in less than a year? Because if your breasts grow after augmentation, it can be disastrous!! (In that you'll have to get surgery again because it doesn't look "right.")

No,you don't have to be skinny, but I would suggest holding off on the boob job. Breast implants almost never look natural,and, contrary to popular opinion, they don't last forever. Odds are high that if you got one, you'd have to get it redone within twenty years.
Plus..it's really invasive surgery, with a long and painful recovery period. I've had to have invasive surgeries before, for health reasons and not cosmetic ones. I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would choose to go through that when they don't have to.

And at 22, you can get over whatever shyness you have had as a teen. That will be much nicer for you. You make yourself permanently vulnerable by having implants. And it hurts too. And you would never feel really liked. Even if you were, you'd think it was because of the implants - giving you always a sting in the heart.

My friend had to lose a little weight to get a reduction (to make sure it was not partly extra fat).
I'm pretty sure you don't have to lose weight to get a boob job though. In any case, talk with the doctor.

No. Unless your are MORBIDLY obese, you'll be fine. Big girls get breast implants/reductions ALL the time!!
