Answers:

Did I read that right, you had periods that lasted eleven days and another one that lasted eighteen days?

Did you go to a regular doctor or a gyno? I would go to another doctor and have them do ultrasounds. A period that lasts that long and is that close together doesn't sound right.

____Hm, I would go to a gyno. That is their "cup of tea" or area of expertise. Nothing bad with your doctor that you're comfortable with or anything. Sometimes you need a different doctor for different things. I have two dentist. One does cleanings and fillings, the other just X-rays or extractions. I like them both. But one is better than the other at something.

I hope you get answers soon. It has to be hard on your body to lose that much iron. In the mean time, make sure to take iron supplements or eat more iron rich foods. Good luck!

First off I wouldn't stress about it.

Birth control can help regulate ur cycle. And unless ur trying to get pregnant it's a good idea in ur case, being very sexually active.

In my personal case= my DR said I'm simply too skinny to produce the correct amount of estrogen to have regular cycles. and that can go both ways with weight.

Also drug use can mess up ur cycle.

Here's my 2 cents, even though I doubt this applies to you.
During pre-menopausal periods, you will experience irregular menstrual cycles. But since you're only 19, I don't think you're going into menopause any time soon.

Why haven't you asked your doctor about this? Seems to me that you are simply having irregular periods. Asking your doctor can give you more insight, and better answers than on here.
