Why Hasn't My Period Come Yet?!

Question: Why Hasn't My Period Come Yet?
Hi,
I'm a 14 year old girl and I began my period in december last year. I know that they are supposed to be a bit off at first but so far I have had one every month, even if it was a little late. I was supposed to get it on the 14th of this month but it hasn't come yet and I'm a bit worried. Does this mean it won't come for another month? Or will it just be late? Please help me because I'm still quite new to all of this.

P.S Just so you know there is no way I am pregnant

If there is no way you're pregnant then just give it time. It will soon come. It's like that at first and you're still 14 so you're body adjusting.

It is 100% completely normal to have periods that are irregular. Mine are and I am 20 and started around your age. Your period will most likely be late this month but if it doesn't come till next month again that is normal too. When you go to your gynecologist for the first time you can talk to her about birth control which will regulate your periods if the irregularity bothers you. Until then your fine and a normal girl.

DId you start in December of 2010? So you've had two periods? If so, your body is still adjusting. You could still get it any day or you might not get one again until next month or even later. When I first started having my periods, I had one, then didn't have another for about 6 months. It takes a good year of keeping track on a calendar and having them regularly before you can be sure when you'll get them. Sounds like you're being very mature and responsible already! Good luck.

it will come because one of mine was two months late than it should of been.
i hope this has helped
