Question: I have been on my Period for 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. What could be wrong?
Ok here's the situation, I'm 21 years old and I've had normal periods so far (every month for 3-5 days). But with this period I've been on it for about 2-3 weeks. At first it was very light spotting then it went heavy with clumps (majority of period was in this stage). I am not on birth control and I'm a virgin (yes still am but i don't know if that helps). I'm planning on calling the doctor soon to get an appointment but I'd like to see if I can get a general opinion (no matter how accurate or inaccurate it may be).

go see a doctor asap. it could be fibroids, or cysts or even hemorrhaging. but I cant tell you for sure that it is any of those, just make an appointment and the doctor will determine what you have. I hope that its nothing very serious. good luck.
