There is no side effect of the meprate, it is progesterone hormone and supports the pregnancy.

If you have decided on your own @ without the consultation of any Gynaecologist.then its absolutely a bad decision. You are playing with your life and motherhood.talk to physician..and go according to him/her.

Sorry mam u just can't take t.meprate too long as its a hormone so it too has its side effects...since u r diagnosed to have P.C.O.D. the better drug/medicine of choice is tab.Metformin (500 mgs)...but that too u have to take under ur GYNAC.'S advise....in PCOD treatment has to be taken for some long time...but u can help ur self by----
1) weight redution
2) have good healthy & nutritions food
3)go 4 walk,or just simple exercises that can be done at home as well....

I dr. sachin thakar frm mumbai...for more quries ---9820954227...BEST OF LUCK...treatment is going to be long....
