Question: Sex after stitches and childbirth?????????????
I know you're supposed to wait until the 6 week mark.But honestly I feel great! Its been 2 weeks. My stitches are gone as far as I can see. And I know to protect myself. I know I'll probably get a lot of lectures but I keep reading that its okay to resume sex when the woman feels her body is ready. I feel like I honestly cant wait much longer.

You may be surprised to learn that the restrictions regarding resumption of sexual intercourse after birth are largely a result of "folk wisdom." There are no research-based studies that show an ideal waiting time. Women should be given the freedom to chose when they wish to resume sex after birth.
As long as you use protection against another pregnancy, you should be fine :)
Go slow but try it. I didn't wait six weeks, either. That's too long to go without!
