Question: Is this a really weird way to think? Does anyone else have these thoughts?

I don't know if this is really weird.. but whenever I develop feelings for a guy that I am seeing, or especially when I am having sex with him.. I start to think things like what kind of father would he be, what would the child look like etc. I am no way ready for a child (I am at university) but just the thoughts always cross my mind.. It is hard to describe but I think sex is incredible in some ways.. in my mind I am thinking a child comes from this.. and I guess this is partly why it gives me stronger feelings for that person afterwards.. I don't want children right now.. but later on in life. I was just wondering whether any other women think like this? I find it a turn on (in a non sexual way) that we could potentially create a life whilst we are sleeping together. Is this a really weird way to think? Do any other females think life this?

If it's not normal I think the majority of women are screwed. I definitely have the same feelings but not always during sex, sometimes just when we're hanging out or I'm watching him play with the dog, drive, etc.

It's not strange to think about what your children will look like with a guy...It's perfectly normal; we as women perceive all our partners are potential fathers to our children therefore we are always sizing them up. It's the whole survival of the fitness thing, we want to mate with what we see as the perfect male so it only makes since that when we 'hook' up with him that we want to think about the next step.
