Answers:
It all depends on when you started taking the pill after your last period. If you already ovulated (12-14 days from teh start of your period) and then started taking the pill you could possibly get pregnant. Usually they recommend that the first month you start taking birth control pills you should use other forms of protection. So I'd say it'd be most effective after a month.
