Question: How long will the Copper IUD sideeffects last for?
After I had my baby, my husband and I thought that to be safe I should get the copper IUD. Its been a couple of months since I got it, but the bleeding won't stop. Nothing hurts, but its ruining our alone time. Please, I need advice on wether I should get it out and go back to the pill, or if I should wait longer? Thank you!

Bleeding can be common when you first get the IUD inserted, some light spotting throughout the first month, but if there is significant bleeding and it has lasted over a few months then this is not normal - this is not a 'side-effect' per say, there is something wrong in this case so seek medical attention.
