Question: I have whiplash and...?
it hurts to turn my head. i spent the night with a bunch of my friends last night and when i woke up i had to actually ask my friend to lift my head up for me because i couldnt do it it hurt so much. should my neck be in a brace or something? and how long will this pain last, do you suppose?

I had one after a car accident (hit and run!) and was left in my car with a big whiplash. My doctor recommended physiotherapy and in all honesty, it really really helped! I went from having migraines, neck pain, back pain, to small neck pain at the end of long days.
It's a case by case thing. My pain will never be completely gone, but it's 90% better than what it was.
I also put some heat on my neck when I feel it becoming tense and it helps.

You need to go to a medical Dr. Not a chiropractor. they sill make it worse.
