New Birth Control. No period for two months?!

Question: New Birth Control. No period for two months?
I switched my birth control because of acne reasons. That was the beginning of January.
I missed January period and now I'm not showing any signs of having one this month either.
No bloating, no breast soreness, nothing at all.
And now I am missing Februarys period also.
I took a pregnancy test two weeks after my missed period and it was negative. Should I retest? What could be happening? I haven't missed my period since I first began having them 3 years ago.

It takes a few months for your body to get used to the new hormones.

I would just go see a doctor and make sure you're not pregnant.. On the birth control I'm on it's normal to miss one sometimes but missing two in a row may mean you're pregnant. I don't know what you're on or what it's rules about that are but I would still just go see a doctor, or maybe a clinic to make sure. You should also read through the package insert, just to check on it. It may just be normal for this kind of birth control and if it is it will probably mention it. But if I were you I would still just get a pregnancy test from a doctor, home pregnancy tests are not the most accurate things.

what kind of birth control are you taking? depo provera can cause your periods to be unpredictable, stop all together or you can spot all the time. if your on depo and you have no period there is nothing to worry about but if your on the pill or nauva ring then you should probably see your doctor and get a pregnancy test from them. hope that helps you and good luck!

take another pregnancy test, and even if you test negative you should visit a doctor to make sure since they can sometimes show false readings
