Just had a baby 2 months ago, does yoga works?!


Question: Just had a baby 2 months ago, does yoga works?
I just had a baby 2 months ago and I have no babysitter. Does yoga work for loosing all the weight I gained? I need recommendations because I don't live close to a gym and I have a 2 month old and a 3 yr old that needs constant supervision. I bought a few yoga videos and it would be easy for me to excersice at home.

Hello. Yoga is probably not a good choice when trying to lose weight from pregnancy. Yoga is a lot of stretching, and slow movements, and poses ( great for relaxation ). But you really need good exercise with movement to lose weight after having a baby. After my son was born, i couldn't get to a gym either, so i just did a 20 minute workout everyday, and i lost a lot of weight in a few months. I would do things like sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, etc. If you do soething like that, and some yoga also, that would probably work better. Good luck.
