Question: Vaginal odor due to birth control pills?

I always had a really neutral smelling vagina. It was never at all offensive. I've been on birth control for a few months and noticed a huge change in my vaginal odor. It's not necessarily foul, but it's just different and odd and I don't like it haha. My boyfriend said he noticed it tasted different too. Does anyone know if vaginal odor/taste can change due to birth control pills? Can it be a cause?
