You need to go and see your doctor, the discharge could be thrush (candida) which needs simple treatment.

If you have any desire to get pregnant again, ever...don't have them put a new one in. I had the Mirena IUD for just under 3 years. It was great at the time, after the 1st year my periods stopped. I didn't realize that in the process my body was no longer producing progesterone(the hormone your body requires when it first gets pregnant). I finally had the IUD removed because I was ready to try and get pregnant again, and I have now been trying for over a year. I recently had an tubular pregnancy because I didn't produce enough progesterone to get the fertilized egg through my fallopian tube and into my uterus, so it began to grow in my fallopian tube. Several months later, I had to have surgery to remove the tube and the pregnancy that had been growing in it. All thanks to the Mirena IUD.

I hope that all is well with you and that the short period of time you had the Mirena will not affect your fertility.

Mother of 1, TTC baby #2 for 1 yr now, had IUD for 3 almost yrs

You need to go to your doctor to make sure that no damage was done to your uterus and/or cervix when the implant was expelled.
