Are these normal side effects for implanon birth control?!

Question: Are these normal side effects for implanon birth control?
I went on implanon birth control in step of 2010. The first two months i didnt get a period at all. Then it came normal and now for the past 2 months iv been getting it every two weeks. The kicker is it been then lasting for two weeks. Has this happened to any one else that been on implanon? If so dose it go away or should i been worried and go get it removed?

Please and thank you!

those are very common side effects of Implanon, and happen to a lot of women. the exact same thing's been happening to me for over 2 years on Implanon, but a lot worse lol some of my periods have lasted 4 weeks, a few lasted 6 weeks...it sucks lol

if you talk to your doctor, he/she may put you on 3 months of the 21 day birth control pill to help you regulate your periods, and that does help a lot of women. if you don't want to mess with taking pills, you may want to consider getting it removed, because it doesn't get better lol trust me lol

good luck, hope it works out :-)

It's a common side affect of implanon, I had it in for a year and had this happened once, go to the docs and they will give u some pills to stop bleeding, after that episode, i didn't bleed again for a year.

I recently took mine out as i felt it affected my mood and weight, after two days of having it out i feel great.
