What does it mean to skip periods every other month?!

Question: What does it mean to skip periods every other month?
I gave birth 10 and a half months ago and I've been breastfeeding since, but I got my period back the 2nd month after I gave birth and had it every month since then except December I missed it, then got it for 4 days in January and now I've missed it again. I was just wondering if that was normal since I'm breastfeeding still.

Yes, it's normal. It takes a over a year for your hormones to regulate after having a baby.
