been feeling yucky since i went out drinking saturday?!

Question: Been feeling yucky since i went out drinking saturday?
I went out drinking Saturday night, got pretty drunk and I haven't drank in a month. Yesterday at work I had a full blown panic attack and today I feel off. Like not dizzy but off kilter like everything is moving around me. I had an ekg two weeks ago that was fine and blood work about a month ago that was good. What could this be? Anxiety or from drinking?

Answers:

Yes - both - anxiety and drinking are both messing up how you feel. Consider that much drinking to be like a mini stroke. You may recover normal function more quickly than in a stroke but the mechanism is the same.

The drinking keeps you from feeling pain and pleasure. That is why many injure themselves drinking. I'm so glad you are starting to reason from cause to effect. I'm sure you want to avoid this in the future so you can feel better all the time and I am sure God wants you to feel better.

Try to drink clear water, not soda. Go on a bland diet. Your heavy drinking days may have ended. My stomach is very sensitive. I don't drink at all. Avoid vitamin supplements or naisds (pills for pain) on an empty stomach. If it keeps up, call dr.

well. you are hungover. your body isnt obviously used to drink, since you say you havent had it for a month. drinkings bad and leads to liver diseases. just thought i had to add that.

Yes, depression and anxiety can all result from drinking.

Its a toxin.
