WHY AM I NOT LOSING WEIGHT?!?!


Question: WHY AM I NOT LOSING WEIGHT?!?
I am 13 and I weigh 106 pounds at 5'2". My belly measures 27 inches around. I wanted to lose some weight so I switche from a pretty normal diet to this:
Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: bagel and water
After school: apple
Dinner: a non fat yogurt
And u drink water whenever I'm thirsty
I am struggling just to maintain this diet and it's not working at all! If anythig, I look more fat (but my
weight is the same). I don't get how I am not losing weight on such a strict diet. My metabolism can't be THIS bad. PLEASE HELP!!

There is a simple reason why people say breakfast is the most important meal of the day it is because one it gives you the energy you need to get through the day and it also boost your metabolism. If you eat a breakfast with high protein in the morning through out the day you will burn it off. The lunch you have decided to choose to eat not so much a good idea try eating half a chicken breast with broccoli and brown rice. You really want to stay away from carbs especially things like white bread and bagels. Always go multigrain!!! after school in reality you don't need to eat anything and if you do eat a greek yogurt with some granola. DO NOT EAT AFTER 5!! Make sure to drink lots of water throughout the day you will noticeable stop eating as much also you wont binge eat. Get a calorie counter and attempt to stay at 1000 calories a day. Remember any calorie you put in your body you need to make sure you work off!! Look into super foods on the web and zero calorie foods this will definitely work!!



You're not losing weight because you are STARVING yourself. When you starve yourself your body goes into starvation mode...it takes everything that you DO eat and turns it into fat so you're body can use it because it thinks you're starving.
The best way to lose weight (and if you're 106 pounds YOU DON"T NEED TO LOSE ANY WEIGHT!) is to eat healthy five or six times a day (to get your metabolism going) and exercise regularly. Have you never watched Biggest Loser? They eat all the time and exercise all the time and when they skip meals, THAT'S when they DON"T lose weight!

losing weight isn't all about the food you eat. Don't starve yourself. just eat filling foods like starches and stop when you are full, not stuffed.

Losing weight is about burning more calories than you consume(more or less) Here is a couple of tips.

- eat breakfast!!!! Its important!!!
-Stay away from pop especially coke and Pepsi. Sprite once in a while is fine. But pop has a lot of sugar and sugar is murder to weight loss.
- get a gym membership, and every night go to the gym.If you don't have plans. Also if you buy a month membership, you are motivated to get your moneys worth.
- work out with friends
-listen to music when you work out
- eat a balanced diet. what your eating right now is soo bad. you need your veggies, fruits, dairy, etc each meal.
- eat lots of veggies too

this is extremely unhealthy! you need to stop this instantly.
the probably is you're not giving your body enough nutrients (food) that you need to get your metobilsm going to burn off the weight.
and btw, you're a healthy weight! so no worries! and you can't just not eat to lose weight- you must exercise. EXCERCISE GURL :)

ok, so you're 106.. you dont need to loose weight, so stop this diet.
you should always have breakfast,
and you should be getting more protein.
but seriously, stop this diet,. you're only 13...



im 14 and weigh 103 and im ur same height, i could tell u one thing ur not guna lose any weigh w/ this "diet" ur not eating healthy enough come on all ur guna have in one day is guna be a bagel, apple, a non-fat yogurt and water. tsss tssss u need to eat actual meals through out ur day if ur just eating this then ur body is not guna lose weigh instead its guna start storing body fat just in case u dont eat if u eat healthy than it wont store body fat cause ur eating and it doesnt need it, Exercise thats a better way to lose weigh ( i dont exercise but i have a super high metabolism and i eat like 5 times a day which is alot but yeah am i really hungry person at times) Also u could get a deit plan made especially for you at http://teens.sparkpeople.com/ i have one im just to lazy to use it. its completly Free of charge it gives u a diet Plan, A strengh traing Plan and i forgot what else but yeah follow whatever fitness plan they give you on there instead it will work my cusin lost 20 pounds by following it and its also healthier for you. :)

these people are so stupid aying you shouldnt worry about your weight at 13. idiots! if anything, your teen years is when you should worry about your weight the most. with all the pervs, bullies, etc. you HAVE to.
but heres the thing: your only 106 lbs. that isnt fat at all... i am 14 and weigh that much, and my stomach is flat. idk how you think you are fat.
btw: on such a strict diet your body is forcing itsself to store fat instead of get rid of it. you shouldnt nessisarily worry about your "scale" weight cause no one knows it. you should worry about your apperance. if you really want to lose weight here is how....

breakfast: bowl of cereal & orange juice
lunch: sandwich, apple, & milk
after school: fruit salad
dinner: chicken, corn, potatoes, & water

then you should exersize regularly: the scale may show that you gain weight cause muscle weighs more than fat but you will definately look thinner
