Uncomfortable Bra? Help?!

Question: Uncomfortable Bra? Help?
I got my first bra a week ago and I wore it one day and I could feel it while wearing it! I can mostly feel the band of the bra is this normal? It is really uncomfortable for me and I really need to wear it but because it's so uncomfortable to wear it I don't. Also, what's the easiest way to put on a bra? (It is difficult for me as well!) Thanks for your help!!

Answers:

Well if you have never worn a bra before and start wearing one now, it should feel quite different. If you find itching or irritation, ask your mom, aunt, sister, etc to take you to get a new one. This time, be sure to try on the bra in a fitting room to make sure it's comfortable.

As for putting on the bra, I normally hold the bra behind my back with the cups facing outside, bring it to my back and fasten it, then turn it around the right way and slip your arms through the straps.

Good luck, hope this helps!

Well, it depends on the type of bra it is. Some are front clasp bras and some are back clasp bras. The front clasp one's are easy, just put your arms in the straps and then snap the front between your boobs. The back clasp ones I put on with the clasp to the front, clasp it, the slide it around my body and then put my arms in the straps and pull the cups up into place. Until you get used to wearing one, you'll probably feel it for a while. It's kinda like wearing a thong, just think about it, if you never wore one and all of a sudden started wearing one, you'd feel it for a while, until you got used to it.

There are several reasons why it's uncomfortable
1. If you are sure that it is the right size for you, and it's not painful, then you might just need some time to adjust to the feeling
2. If you are not sure that it's the right size, try to measure your dimensions again. It's not enough to just try it on in the fitting room. It's best to consult a chart, as well.

3. Perhaps try training bras first, before buying a real one?
4. Also, there are different kinds of bras - regular support, underwire, push-up, etc. Start with the basics first!

If the band is leaving a mark on your skin, then the bra is too small. Otherwise, you just have to get used to it. If you bought an underwire, that's probably a mistake. If you have trouble hooking it in the back, you can do the hooks ahead of time and just pull it over your head. Lift your breasts up so no extra flesh is under the band. Pull them toward the center and lay them in the cup.

You can't really feel bras when they're on any more than you feel underwear, so I think you are wearing the wrong size. Most women are. To find your size, either get sized at the store, or take a tape measure and measure your chest right under your breasts. Add 5 to that number and, if necessary, round down to the nearest even number. For example, I am 28" around my chest, add 5 is 33, round down and I'm a 32. Now measure your breasts at their furthest out point, usually the nipples. My number there is 31. Subtract the original number from that number (31-28) and I get 3". Each inch is a cup size, 1" is A, 2" is B, etc. (For US only, sorry.)

I put on bras backwards, because I can't reach around to clasp it behind my back. Then I pull the cups around front and pull them up over my breasts.

Yes its normal to be able to feel it
Bras are uncomfortable but thats just something women have to put up with, you will get used to it.

Some people put the bra on backwards, so they can see the clasps and then they twist it around.
Or you can just try to do it behind your back

bras take some time to get used to.
and, the easiest, well.. for me, to put them on is do the up in the front, then twist them around to the back aha.
oh, and perhaps you chose an uncomfortable bra.. mayeb try a different style,?
feeling the band is normal, maybe it's too tight.

its normal i got my 1st bra 6mts ago
it's uncomfortable for the 1st few days
you'll get used to it

i but mine on back wards so i can see the clips
i find that easer
