Question: Could i get pregnant?

my bf and i had sex yesterday. i am currently using the Nuva Ring but i wasn't on it when we had sex because this week is the week i'm supposed to get my period. i had had it out for about 3 days before we had sex. we didn't use protection, but about 4 hours later i finally started my period. could i get pregnant? or did my period prevent it from happening?

Technically yes, you could still get pregnant. But you didn't have sex during a fertile time and those types of birth control are designed to protect you even the week you're not due to use them. So while it is a possibility, it's highly unlikely. If your next period is late, take a test but I doubt it will be. I applaud you taking BC but if you really don't want a baby, always use a condom too.

I highly doubt you can get pregnant, as long as you put the nuva ring back in when you're supposed to you shouldn't worry about it.

You could. It is less likely but is possible to get pregnant at any time in your cycle as many women have learned the hard way.
