I would say that it isn't constant. I'm sure that sometime in history, somewhere in the world, someone had a dream about another person who was thinking about them that night.
My opinion in this matter though, is that dreams are usually who /you/ are thinking about or about someone who might have left an imprint in your life or in that day.

True. I've had dreams about people, but every once in a while. Even if i like them.
I currently am crushing on a guy and he hasn't thought about me at night yet, even though we text until 3 in the morning... and I haven't had one dream bout him yet... So obviously he hasn't thought of me.

I don't believe that to be true....I think you dream about someone because they are on your mind. I've even dreamed about people I have never even met before!
I wish. But it's false. Chances are, you dreamed about them because they were on your mind prior to falling asleep.
