Ive made an appt for later this week, to go to the doctor to see what he can give me for awful cramps.
Have you done this?
What kind of things did you tell them?
What did they suggest?
What did you end up getting?
How well did those work for you?
And if it makes any difference im 16.

My daughter is 16 and had the same problem. She went into her appt. alone, so I can't say exactly how the conversation went, but I know it was only minutes before she came out with a prescription for birth control pills. She's been on them for only one week, so don't know if they are going to actually help or not. I would hope the nurse practitioner wouldn't give her something unless she thought it would work.
They'll give you a prescription for birth control if your parents aren't against it.
