Is it bad that I've been having my period every two weeks?!

Question: Is it bad that I've been having my period every two weeks?
I've been having my period about every two weeks, full length with cramps and everything. I'm always bloated and exhausted and hungry. I can't ever get up the energy to do anything. I used to run a lot, but I can't anymore. I don't know if this is related or not, but my feet go numb randomly when I'm walking and running. My toes get all white and almost purple and I can't walk. That's the other reason why I can't go run. Is something wrong with me? Should I see a doctor?

Answers:

Yes, you should see a doctor.

Getting your period every two weeks can lead to anemia. Anemia is probably what's responsible for your fatigue.

Your doctor will probably prescribe a birth control pill in order to spread out your periods more, and allow your system to recover.

Peanut Butter is right. I had a similar problem recently. My period started on christmas and it ended around february first. And it didn't go off ANY between that time period and it was very heavy. I went to the doctor and they prescribed a 10 day pill that would stop then restart my period and then i would get put on birth control. Maybe they'll do the same for you? Good luck hope this helps.
