Question: Periods, questions that need anwsers?

I'm 13 and I haven't started my period yet, I do, however, have a lot of discharge, it ruins my underwear for one and two, it's plain annoying. When I start my period, will there be less discharge? Do I have to be moody? And how can you tell if it's coming. I like how ppl how already have there periods, know what week it's coming and there perpared, unlike I'll probably be, so should I wear pantyliners in advance or just keep them closet to me?

Discharge is there for life. It is the vagina cleaning mechanism and you will discharge about a teaspoon a day.

Some women are not moody but the hormones fluctuation makes many a bit moody.

As for knowing when it is coming, you won't. While getting discharge generally means you'll get it within a year, that is not always the case. Keep panty liners close by and when you get your first one it will be light so if you get a little in your underwear, no one will notice but you. Some women get cramps, or moody or tired, etc, but many don't and many might later on but won't get these signs for their first period. No one can predict it. Good luck!

just keep a spare pair of underwear and some pads etc in a little bag in your school bag, that's what all my friends did. you should get your period in the next year or so if you have discharge then you will be much more prepared. but dont worry its not scary, i dont even notice mine anymore :)
