Question: Why did my regular period delay only after i tried for conception?

my period was never delayed except this month. its usually 28 days whereas this month it was 33 days. its too late for me as iam used to having it regularly.the point is last month only we decided to conceive our second child and now my period came delayed and iam wondering what happened to me. i never took pills, we used the pull out method after our first child and always succeeded in not getting pregnant. why did my period choose to come delayed particularly this month?

Well, it's normal for periods to come late sometimes, so I really wouldn't worry much about it. But maybe you did get pregnant, and the egg was just waiting to see if it would attach to your uterine walls, but maybe it just didn't or wasn't able to, so you got your period? It could have always been something like that, too.
