It sounds like a swollen lymph gland under your throat!

You have several of them around your body, some in the neck/throat, some in the armpit etc!

If they're swollen, it generally means your body is trying to fight off some sort of infection- could be as simple as a cold/flu!

Don't panic, it's probably perfectly normal... If you're still concerned, go to see your doctor!

I have exactly the same thing at the moment, and it's just a throat infection- Visited my doctor on friday!

It sounds like a swollen, infected gland. You need to go and see a doctor and probably get some antibiotics. It is hard to tell without seeing you. It could be from an infected tooth or an ear infection or if you have had a cold recently it could be related to that. Bottom line- a doctor needs to have a look and maybe prescribe some tablets to reduce the inflammation and pain.
