What if a girl is retarded or have cerebral palsy, can she still get her period?!

Question: What if a girl is retarded or have cerebral palsy, can she still get her period?
and if so who or how would she change her pad, if she cant talk who will know its coming?

Answers:

they have care givers

First of all, I have Cerebral Palsy, but, thank the lord, a very mild case which did not affect me much in my lifetime.

Be careful what you are saying. Cerebral Palsy people and mentally disabled people are not the same thing and saying they are is offensive.

Of course she can get her period. She's a woman, is she not? She may be physically disabled or intellectually, but obviously, that wouldn't impair her period.

A nurse or a helper would change it.

First of all, by "retarded" you mean intellectually or developmentally disabled, and people with cerebral palsy are not mentally affected.

Of course intellectually disabled women have periods. If they can't talk or change their pads themselves, then they have caregivers who help them or do it for them.

Yup I work wit "retarded" ppl..they dnt tell u or no how to take care of it..so I changed there pads..they dnt wear tampons cuz im not inserting it..but they put there hands down there an smear blood every where ..but these are severally mentally challenged woman..im sure woman who just have some mental issues probably tak care of their own periods..so its a pretty messy experience
