i was the same way, i didnt get my period until i was 15. i had one big cramp a few days before i got it. im sure it will happen soon. i started developing soon after my period and i just remember my boobs kinda hurt and i looked so awkward! dont fret though, through high school i was never bigger than a B cup and then once i was almost 19 WHAM! i miraculously became a small D! boobs can still grow even into your 20s

I was the same way. Enjoy it while it lasts. I was 15 when i started my period and my chest size increased from a 30A to a 34D in a few years. All my friends (and my younger sister lol) started their periods before me and all had boobs but i didn't let it bother me. The mood swings and cramps are signs that you may be getting ready to start soon. :]

Know that feeling. When i was 14... i wore a basic training bra, and no period. Then at 15, 32B and monthly friend. It happens very fast when it happens. And the old saying is "good things happen to those that wait". :)

Move on sweetie. Worry about things you can control, and dismiss the things you can't.

im sorry... everyone develops at diffrent times tho.. good luck.

I am 23 years old and I wear a 32A. You are not an 8 year old. Big breasts really are not fun. I got my 32A from losing weight. I was overweight when I was 16 and I was a 36D. When I realized soda and candy wasn't good for me, I dropped 32 pounds and dropped my bra size. When I first started exercising I had to wear a bra, a sports bra and a camisole together just to keep my breasts from bouncing because it hurt. That same heaviness causes boobs like those to sag to your knees when you are 35. To make matters worse, they put you at a risk of back problems and higher risk of breast cancer. You also need a bra for EVERYTHING. I was able to go to my boyfriends prom in a halter top dress without a bra because I had dropped my bra size. And when you get older and are with a cute boy, you'll be happy that smaller breasts are 24% more sensitive than larger ones.

You are still two years away from your breasts being just about fully developed. From there, its only fat and child bearing that grows them. However, most women in the US do not have large breasts because they were born that way. They are all like me and have bigger breasts merely from being overweight (63% of Americans are overweight).

As for your period. Once again, getting your period 14 years old or later puts you at a lower risk of breast cancer. I didn't get mine until I was 14, and some don't get it until they 17 or 18. Periods are also not fun. Be patient and relax. You are completely normal and I know this is cliche but learn to love yourself for who you are.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. Some girls develop at 11 other at 16. I didn't even GET boobs until I was 16...yep...16...I was a sophmore in HIGH SCHOOL...ALL my friends had boobs except me. Yep, and it was plainly obvious to all the boys too. But, you know what? I STILL had bfs. There are guys that like you for YOU and NOT for your boobs. Now, I'm 25 and they are 34B.Yeah, they didn't grow much, but that's ok, I'm very active in swimming, tennis and volleyball and I like that they don't "get in the way". And my bf LOVES my small boobs...LOL.
As far as your period goes, don't rush it, ever heard the saying "be careful what you wish for"? It's not all it's cracked up to be...believe me. Cramps, bloating, sometimes nausea, wondering what exact day it will start...sounds FUN, HUH?
I know you just want to be like your friends, but your time will come. Everyone is different and that's a good thing. Think how boring it would be if everyone was the same!
