Am I TOO underweight?!


Question: Am I TOO underweight?
Here are my measurements...
Height: 5"6
Weight: 90 lbs
Waist: 24 inches
Hips: 29 inches
bust: 30-32 ?
Thighs: 16 inches

I know i sound suppperr skinny but i am very athletic and i seem healthy...( I can run for super long without getting tired and im stronger then i look) The only thing i can think of that is wrong is that i am always cold! My hands are like ice sometimes.I also do feel gross when i eat stuff like cake and cookies ( I dont know why because i shouldnt worry about it being so underweight) But even though I seem healthy should i still gain some weight or something?? Thanks!

Yes. You need to gain weight in healthy muscle form.

I am a professional ballerina and I am your height, and even I was NEVER EVER at a weight that low. At 112 lbs I was told I had to GAIN weight.

For the ballet body, a weight of 90 lbs is appropriate on a body of 5'1.

For a normal and slim body of your height, you should be sitting in the 115-140 range if you're healthy.

See a nutritionist and speak to your doctor about how to gain healthy weight.

You don't want osteoporosis at 30.



Depending on your frame size (small to larger) you should be 120-133 130-144 140-159

So yeah you are pretty small, I would say gain a some "fat" because it sounds like your body doesn't have enough to keep your body temp regulated. And also gain muscle!
Maybe shoot for the 120lb and see how you like the way your body is looking as you get to that number.



I would say so, I am constantly being called skinny and I am the same height as you, but I weigh 112 lbs and I am constantly pigging out, I eat about 3000 calories a day! And I never exercise either :')) haha can't run to save my life! Erm yeah just eat more fatty stuff and you will soon get a bit of meat on ye' bones! <3



Yes, you should be around 130 lb. You should go to a doctor. It sounds like you are anorexic. You do not seem healthy at all. You need to gain about 40 lbs.



You do need to gain weight. At your height you should be at least 135. You are like malnourished. WAY under weight.



Your body mass index is 14.5. It should be at least 18.5. So you are underweight.
