Period Help? SO CONFUSED!?!
Question: Period Help? SO CONFUSED!?

Hey darl,
Lots of girls have problems with their period when they first start. You go through a time of "regulating" with your body. If you feel uncomfortable with it, don't be shy to speak to a doctor, you can get pills to help regulate your hormones and this will help regulate your period. You should be fine with it before you're 16.
And yes, period pain can HURT LIKE HELL. I used to be doubled over in pain and crying with it sometimes. Don't skimp on the panadol and warm wheat bag / hot water bottle on your stomach/back can help.
Welcome to the club! lol!
Basically you brain is secreating (giving off) more 'period' hormones then it needs to.
If you want to try and get it under conrtol i strongly suggest going on the Pill (microgynon 30 or Yasmin) are the best.
My friend had a period every other week and she found it very distressing she went to the local doctors and they suggected the pill as it would regulate her period cycles.
Give it a go ;)
NBT: the pill does not affect your body the same as it does others!!!!!!
Personal Experience and Friends
It's only been 5 months. Irregular periods are normal. Over time they will start to become regular.
I wouldn't worry about it. I had irregular periods at first too, but after 2 years they started becoming regular.
So, rest assured that what is happening is normal and nothing to worry about. Your body just needs time to adjust.
That first answerer is obviously confused too. Like the others above me said, your still irregular. After a while your period will regulate. Dont worry. This is normal but it will take some time. Birth control can help regulate them and make them lighter.
your still irregular. you got it in september and it can take 6 month to over a year to become a regular thing. my didnt become regular untill a while after my first period
You may have cysts on your ovaries, which would cause the frequent bleeding because its your body trying to clean them out. Most doctors will say just let them burst and wont do anything for them. It is often very painful though, but their isnt much they can do anyways. You still should talk to a health care professional to make sure its not something more serious. The dark color is probably just clotting; very normal. Hope this helped.
If your uncomortable with talking to your mum their are places such as planned parenthood where you can be in controll of everything by yourself being a minor. Including access to condoms and birth controll when your ready.
