Question: I have a belly, 18, 145 pounds... How do I lose my belly fat?
Ok, I'm probably going to ramble a lot here.

I'm 18, I'm not sure exactly how tall I am, but probably 5'8'' - 5'9''ish. I weigh 145 pounds. All of my body is fine except for my tummy, love handles... etc. But my tummy is what's really hard for me to handle.

I feel like I can't do anything that normal girls could do because of my belly.. I haven't worn a bathing suit in forever, JUST because of it... Never wear tank tops or anything.. I really wish I could just wear whatever I wanted...

Anyway... I have a treadmill. I still live with my mom, I can't get to the gym... So what can I do on the treadmill that will help me lose weight by this summer? Or as fast as I can?
Not even 'lose weight', but lose my fat stomach!


Please, help me. I'm getting so depressed, and I feel if I had a flatter stomach there would be so much weight lifted off me - literally - I'd be so much happier..


Also, I do eat pretty unhealthily. But I'd be willing to cut down on fat foods. I'm willing to try anything, really..

That's your problem, Maddy! Too much unhealthy food!

Carbs and fat (them 2 especially) cause havoc on your stomach, hips and waistline!

Reduce your intake of them, don't completely cut them out as we need them for energy, but dramatically reduce how much junk you eat. Replace with healthier foods, fruits and veg.

Use your treadmill, start at around 30 minutes per day, gradually increasing to 60 minutes per time, for 4 or 5 days per week.
You will notice you lose weight from other areas too - there's nothing you can do about that. You cannot lose weight from just one place, it's impossible - unless you have plastic surgery!

You should eat breakfast, yes. Even if it's something like a fruit salad (grapes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apple and a banana topped with fat free natural yoghurt) you will have more energy throughout the morning, feel less hungry and therefore less likely to indulge on the crappy junk food during the day.



eat 6 small meals a day =)
it helps and u NEED to eat breakfast.
u just need to eat healthy.
i do yoga and i love it. te first day i did it kicked my butt lol i couldn't even finish the 30 minute work out lol now i can and i love it it really keeps my tummy toned =)
the mat for yoga is 9 bucks and a work out dvd for yoga i also 9 bucks ( that's at walmart)
i recommend yoga to anyone trying to lose weight, stay in shape, or just work out.
