Shocked my arm while plugging in a cell phone charger? Will I be okay?!

Question: Shocked my arm while plugging in a cell phone charger? Will I be okay?
Might be a stupid question, but really i don't know what to do. I went to plug in my cell phone charger to the wall, and i had my finger on the metal part as i was pushing it in. I got a good zap all the way up to my shoulder. This happened about an hour ago, and i still have a burining/ tingling sensation in my left arm. it feels pretty heavy, too. i dont have any burn marks, though.

will this go away with time, or is there something i should do?

Answers:

Ouch!
I'd say give it another few hours and then phone your city's hospital accident & emergency number (not an ambulance!).
Haha, yeah phone them if it doesn't go away, see what they say, they might want to check you for nerve damage. Funnily enough, nurses who have studied at university for 3+ years tend to know more than members of the public on an Internet forum!
Hope you're better now anyway!

Usually, the pain resides after a few hours.

When it happened to me it went away but it made me a lot stronger and boosted endurence try lifting heavy objects (with arms and legs not back) and it'll go away

You will be fine, it will go away, probably by morning. I did this plugging in the vacuum once, unpleasant but not serious.

i did that a couple times, but i got better within seconds
