Sounds to me like you have a "wild hair" LOL. It seems to be getting irritated after you shave, most likely because something continues to rub up against it (maybe your panties or jeans or if it's in a spot that you might be sitting on at work). Try putting some neosporin on it and a small bandaid. That will keep whatever is rubbing it from rubbing it and give it time to heal itself.
warm compress. Three times a day get a rag and soak it with warm-hot water. Make sure it isn't too hot that it will burn you, and place it over the irritated spot until the rag cools.
Are you on steriods?
This is usually a side affect...
You should get that check A.S.A.P!
