You might be getting your period, but dont get too excited becuase it might be apart of your body developing .I know people always says its a hassle to keep up with your period but trust, and belive ITS A HASSEL. Once you get your period you will have to worry about the right fitting clothing because you get bloated, make sure your clean and smell fresh down there and make sure no one can see your pad. Good Luck!! :)

Calm down! It's normal!
Yes it sounds like you're about to get your first period. It's nothing to worry about. Although I recommend you buy some pads or tampons or both (the tampons are optional but to begin with you should definitely get pads) ASAP.
Also, make sure you stay fresh. You might need to start washing more often, especially down there!

Welcome to a life of 'eeeuuuuggggghhhh' :/

wow, this is an OMG?

yes, you'll probably get it soon. carry a pad with you.
discharge you will have for the rest of your life

Well it sounds like you have signs of getting your first period, but as your discharge smells fishy, there might be a yeast infection going on. Please seek medical help as soon as possible! =)

yes, this is probably your first period, you better becareful where you go.

This is not necessarily signs of a period. These symptoms usually come right before a period, up to a week, not beyond that. Cramps are a sign that the uterus lining is shedding so if these were period cramps, you would be bleeding by now. They might have been something you ate.

Tender breasts is usually a sign of hormone fluctuations right before a period, but teens can get tender breasts when they are growing.

Pubic hair or armpit is not a sign of a period because each woman develops differently. A period isn't a sign you are all grown up, just a sign that your reproductive system has developed. Some girls do all their other developing before they get their period, and some women get their period before armpit hair.

As for chocolate, the craving of chocolate is due to anemia. Anemia is an iron deficiency that can happen to many women because they are bleeding and thus losing iron. So maybe you just had a sweet tooth :) I know I don't need a period to crave some chocolate.

Your discharge, however, signals that you will probably get your period within a year. Most women begin vaginal discharging a year or less before their first period. This discharge is to help clean the vagina and it will continue the rest of your life. However, this discharge is supposed to be clear or milky in color and yellow is a sign of a simple infection. So, if you start to itch down there, see a doctor and that is a simple fix.

Be happy you have waited this long to get your period (I say long because most women seem to be getting it earlier when in reality your age is healthy) because it puts you at a lower risk of breast cancer. Some women don't get their period until they are 17 or 18, so be patient it will come soon enough.

Yes these are all signs of your first period, but don't panick okay? :)
Because you've had these for 2/3 weeks you may start you period soon but it might take more months. I'll give you some tips about periods and how to deal with them:

Pads and Tampons - Pads are the best thing to use when you first start your period and these will just stick into your underwear. Because of these signs, consider taking one in your bag to school with you just in case. You'll need to change you're pad around 4 or 5 times a day depending on how heavy your period is. When you've got used to your period you can move onto tampons which are inserted into the vagina, some people prefer these, and some prefer pads it's totally up to you. But don't bother about them for a couple years as pads are easier for now.

Cramps - You may or may not experience them. Some girls get them really badly, and some don't. Personally I hardly ever get cramps, but when I do a paracetamol or ibuprofen will sort it out :)

Dont panick about periods, they might seem a bit scary to start with but after your first few they'll become totally normal for you :)
To start with your periods will be irregular which means they'll start on different days each month. A period will last 5-7 days, being heaviest at the middle. After about a year your periods will tend to come the same time each month (ie. at the start of every month, or the middle.) For now, consider noting down each month when it starts as this'll give you an idea of when you'll start the next months. Periods will be red, it's blood, sounds scary but its not :) Basically every month your body prepares as if you were going to have a baby and this involves the lining of the womb to get thicker. When you don't become pregnant you get your period. The period is just the lining or tissue and blood from the extra lining made in the womb, no biggie :). The first and middle days of your period will be dark red colour and then right at the end it might be a little browny, but thats normal. It'll only be brown then as old blood is brown.

Yes, the stuff in your underwear was discharge and it's perfectly normal. You'll continue getting this up to your period and then in between periods. It's completely natural and just your bodys way of keeping the vagina clean. Keep clean down there by just washing every day to stay nice and fresh and healthy.

Hope I helped, :)
