Question: Im really thin?/:? Help?
I'm 13 & 7 months
80 lbs 5"1 & 32AA
My doctor said im underweight. Can you please help me & give ideas on how to gain weight? I feel really awkward because you can see my bones & I look like I'm 8!/:
& I don't have my period yet?

Do you eat a lot? if you do you have a high motabolism and thats whats burning off everything, it might be hard to put on weight. If not then try eating things with more to them like a steak once in a while. also nuts have healthy fats in them as well as protein. its not like your eating potato chips to gain weight. remember gaining weight doesnt mean eating unhealthy, it means eating the right things to get you to your normal body weight. you'll also want to eat more times a day and more food. so instead of 3 big meals do 6 medium ones. keep eating fruits and veggies and add food high in protein and carbs. my advise to you:
eat more (healthy balanced meals)
exercise, this will burn fat, but in your case, it will grow muscle tissue, witch means weight
how to exercise: push ups, sit ups, running, swimming, gymnastics etc.
drink water, muscles need water to grow (duh)

if you are thin, but still eat, it means you have a high metabolism, witch is good, as you will not be overweight.

AND thin girls will generally get their period later (i've heard its actually healthy(er) if it comes late)

and having small boobs will decrease the risk of breast cancer, as it is easier to find when it id not hiding in huge lumps of fat.

if you feel fine, strong and healthy, you may juat not have that much fat witch is not bad

my friend is 85 pounds, 32aa, and even takes vitamins every morning, along with walks, hikes, and bike rides with parents

another friend is 100 lbs, eats all the time, but is still skinny

another friend is 150 lbs, eats less than me, and has exess weight



my point: people come in all shapes and sizes



I'm exactly the same as you, only im 16 and you have bigger boobs than me :(
I tried a lot to gain weight, but my mum told me to follow this diet...

Breakfast : Yoghurt, nuts, oats, honey, and banana all mixed together
Break time snack : Orange and nuts
Lunch : Tuna and cucumber sandwich with sour cream instead of mayo and a packet of crisps and a . hand full of raspberries
Dinner : Whatever your mom is cooking you. And because this is a healthy diet if you get hungry in between and want a snack you can eat unhealthy things because you are underweight and eating a balanced diet, i think it's all really yummy too :)
