Answers:
On the heaviest days,as much as u need to but on lighter days probably 1-2 times a day. Since it's your first,it probably won't be heavy so you don't really need to worry.
I use tanpons and change every 3 to 4 hours i would think pads were the same if not worse since ur siting on them nd ur blood is there if ur really heavy id say every hour if its heavy but ot to heavy every 2-3 hours but tords the last day of ur period when ur just spotting id say leave it on until it feels unomfy.
