Fuckyea indeed. The discriminating vagina chooses menstrual cups.

@ Rusty Bucket - how long are you away from a private bathroom for more than 12 hours? Even if you were, you can safely stretch the time a little longer, or just wipe it as clean as you can and reinsert it, then wash it as soon as you get a chance.

@JulesRules - I'm gross, so part of the appeal is the option to look at what it's the cup. The squeamish can just quickly dump it in the toilet. Once or twice in 4 years have I slipped while holding the cup and gotten blood all over my hand. I admit it's quite horrorshow, but soap and water cures it. You have to have a very heavy flow and leave the cup in for a very long time for it to be totally full.

It makes you not care about being on your period! There's no more inconvenience! Dear god they're awesome!

What happens when you have to empty it in a public restroom and you get period blood on your hands, then pull up your pants/skirt/dress and get blood on your clothes, the door, sink handles, soap dispenser.....(you do wash your hands after using the restroom?)
not sure how sanitary that would be

Nooooo! I won't switch!
Want to know why?

...because I already did ;-)

Preach it, sister. Cups rock my socks.

How have I never heard of this?

i have never heard of it

WOW! I've never even heard of cups. Something to look into I guess..

Cause you pull em out and there is a cup of blood in your hand. Eww. It might overflow and when you pull it out could spill everywhere.

Although i didnt know that people could leave it in for two days, that pretty good. Although they dont sell them in shops where i live.

Another case of preaching to the converted...I switched a long time ago :)

Rusty - It's very rare that you have to empty in a public bathroom as they can be left for so long, even if you do the blood stays in the cup until you empty it down the toilet...the only way you'd get it on your clothing is if you were to pour it onto your clothes...and you wouldn't do that, would you?! Most women if they empty in public don't take it to the sink, they wipe it off or clean with bottled water over the toilet.
