Is 17 a good age to lose ur virginity?!

I think any age from 16+ is a good time but only if you know there will be no regrets with who you are going to lose it with. Make sure you really love the person because remember you can never take your virginity back

Umm well i lose it when i was 17 With my boyfriend of 3yrs & i regret it trust, i think is better if someone wait until they get married its more interested & cute & me & him split up 4 days ago & its real sad that the person i loved cheated on me its sad & depressing so just think about it bcuz you can only lose your virginity only once

Well that depends on you. How well educated in the area of sex are you? Do you know about contraception? STDs? Are you comfortable enough to talk to your partner about sex? All this stuff actually matters and will determin what your first time will be like. Honestly there really isn't a set age where it's ok for someone to start having sex. It all depends on their knowledge. Usually a 17 year old will be old enough to handle sex, but what about after? Can you handle a pregnancy? What if you get some kind of disease or STD? Can you deal with the emotional turmoil you may go through after your partner leaves you? Personally when you can answer all of these questions accordingly that's when your old enough and ready to have sex.

Why are you in a hurry young lady? The law says until 18 you are not an adult, meaning you shouldn't have sex with anybody. I know people lose their virginity at 17, 16 and even 14; but one thing I'm sure is that MOST OF THEM DO REGRET LATER. Do you have a boyfriend that you believe really loves you? Test his love for you by telling him to wait till you reach the legal age of 18. If he refuses, then he doesn't worth it. If he agrees, within this period you'll know what to do without asking people in Yahoo Answers! I wish you the best, but please don't be in hurry to lose your virginity!

It really just depends...are you ready to do that at 17? And also are you ready to take on the responsibilities for sex, like buying and using birth control? And if you're not responsible enough for birth control, are you ready to take on the responsibility of being a mother by around the time you turn 18?

Im 16 and had a boyfriend at 15 who tried to pressure me into having sex. I was not ready emotionally and couldnt do it with him. I eventually broke up with him because he was treating me badly. You have to be ready to have sex your first time as I learnt. I was definatelly not ready. You will know when is a good time.

No, never.See at this age male or female both have attraction towards opposite sex( in today's world towards same sex as well). so just be calm & just enjoy life but plz try to maintain ur VIRGINITY..yet if u don't.plz always use CONDUME as it will prevent u frm all STDs-Sexually Transmitted Diseases eg . A.I.D.S., hepatitis B & C, etc.

well, no one can stop you, but losing your virginity for the sake of losing it is no way to go at all. 17 is young.
