Spinal X-ray today - no metal, including a bra - but with F/G cups? What can I d!

Question: Spinal X-ray today - no metal, including a bra - but with F/G cups? What can I do?
I'm 12/13 years old and I have severe spinal problems, so I'm going for an x-ray. Obviously I can't wear any metal, and that includes a bra. But I have F/G UK cup size breasts and it's so obvious when I don't wear a minimizer bra, or nothing at all. It's also very painful if I don't wear one.
Has anyone ever been in this situation? What can I do to minimize pain and embarrassment?
Thanks in advance!

Answers:

I don't know about what they do in the UK, but whenever I've had a spinal X-ray I've just turned up in my normal clothing and then they've given me a hospital gown to change into. Yes, you have to go bra-less during the X-ray, but it's really only a few minutes.

I'm an F cup too. Yes, I know it's painful (and embarrassing that my girls don't necessarily sit where I'd like them to sit!) but you're honestly bra-less for less time than it takes me to have a shower. A tight crop-top or vest might help, but it's really nothing that the doctors and nurses haven't seen before. There's no reason to get embarrassed by it. Nobody is judging you. :]

wear a tight vest, i find this helps. And dont worry, they are doctors they seen it all so dont worry about not wearing one, they get old ladies in their with boobs down to their ankles and they can clearly see that she isn't wearing a bra. So dont worry, try a sports bra or a tight vest, which will support you. Good luck!

Wear a loose shirt and take the bra off before they start taking pictures. Its not difficult to take off a bra while still wearing a shirt.

They'll understand, don't be embarrassed.

You could try a sports bra. It might not be super supportive, so take your usual bra with you and change into it when you are finished...
