Question: Lutera birth control questions?

i am 16 years old. my gynecologist prescribed Lutera birth control pills for me and i'm suppose to start them the sunday after i get my next period. I have to go pick up the prescription soon and i was wondering if anyone knows how much it cost with insurance and how much it costs without insurance. depending on how cheap it is without insurance i might pay that because i'm not looking for my mom to question be about it on the health insurance bill. i'm pretty sure it will show up on the bill? I live in massachusetts

IT will show up on the bill. In my case, went to planned parenthood and they gave me lutera as well, and it would cost $25/month. (without the insurance). <which I think is your best choice. I know getting birth control on like CVS can cost up to $70, but it depends on which birth control it is. I don't really know because I always got it from planned parenthood.

Right now, I am in college and it costs me $15 with the insurance (but its a different prescription) but it does show up on the bill every month.
