Answers:

I have fainted in the shower before.

When I fainted, it felt like an intense head rush (not enough oxygen getting to your brain). This would cause your vision to go black, too. If you take long showers, the air could be filled with steam, which could make it more difficult for you to get enough oxygen. You would also be very relaxed, which could lower your blood pressure. When I get out of the shower, my face is pale and my feet are bright red. If you are very tired, it would contribute to this.

Unless something else out of the ordinary happens, this doesn't sound like a medical issue, but be careful.

Make sure you are getting enough sleep (judge this by how tired you are, not how any hours you've slept). DRINK WATER. And make sure you're getting enough nutrients, like iron, which is important for your blood. When you take a shower, or if you begin to feel lightheaded, open the shower door or curtain a bit to get some fresh air.

Hope it helps.

I'm no doctor, but I know a lot of 1st aid. It sounds like you may have gone into shock momentarily, the human body can be very inconsistant. did your vision cloude over before you blacked out? It may be that you just got up too fast and gravity pulled too much blood from your brain, but that wouldn't explain the sick feeling... It sounds like shock to me. If it was a very sudden thing, I would get a check up with my doctor if I were you.

Memories from reading Boy Scout Hand Book, 1st Aid Section.

Sleep deprivation, and too much sugar. The body turns the excess surgar to colesterol which impairs the insulin's action causing a low blood sugar reaction. Your blood sugar would read normal. but your blood colesterol would read high. So you are experiencing a faint.

Get more rest, drink more water instead of pop and your fainting should cease.

God bless you,

Seriously? You have to ask this? A screwy diet and too much coke. Get off the computer and get a life. Start eating healthy and get some exercise.
