what's the longest your period has lasted ?!

well my period started when i was 11 and the second time i had my period it laster for 15 days and it was scary but i evetually got over it. :) when i told my mom she told me its normal becuz this happened to her before so dont worry but if this continues and your worried go to the doctor. good luck :)

mine as you've read on my question has always been irregular. But whenever I've gotten mine it has lasted longer than 8 days and heavy. It's probably just your body reacting to stress or just simply your hormones are acting up. I think you should tell your mom, and just bring it up like "mom, I think you should set a doc appt for me, my period has been really long and abnormal for me." just be straight up, you should at least get it checked out.

I was very irregular for the first three years or so, and they would last anywhere from one week to two weeks. To add insult to injury, the flow would increase and decrease. I went on the pill - fixed it right up.

It's nothing to be worried about. For the first year or two your body is just trying to find its rhythm so to speak. But, if it keeps it up and you have bad cramps (like I did) then talk to your mom and doctor about going on the pill.

How do you tell your mom? Just blurt it out. She might have had the same thing happen to her you know.

when mine first started it was 8 days. that's the longest it's ever lasted. now i only get it for 4 days and ive had my period for 3 years. if it goes on for more days than this you need to see a doctor. i have a friend who had hers for 2 weeks and she had to see a doctor for it.

mine has lasted for seven days before, that is the most a period should last usually.
i dont think that its normal if your having such a heavy flow, just tell your mom because you may loose too much blood and become anemic.
the best thing to do is see a doctor if it doesn't stop

My periods have always been the regular, no more than 7 days, if 8 then it's just brown stuff clearing up. The only time I've had a 'period' for longer than that and heavier than that was when I was having a miscarriage! :(

ive had mine for 3 months b4..my birth control made mi hormones all krz..if u jus got ur period thats pretty normal the 1st 2 years they r kinda irregular but if it lasts 2 long u shld tlk 2 ur mom like mine i waited 2 long n now i hve problems wit mi iron in mi blood etc jus dont b afraid 2 tlk 2 her

mine has lasted up to nine days.... with heavy flow the whole time; i soaked through a pad every 40 minutes.... it's perfectly normal mine only did that when i first started so maybe that's why....

well mine usually last about 6-7 days :) well thats just me :)

My first one was a HEAVY 13 days ughhh worst 13 days of my life.
