Lower abdomen pain, right above my vagina. Could this be cramping? It feels diff!

Question: Lower abdomen pain, right above my vagina. Could this be cramping? It feels different?
The pain is located above the vagina but below my belly button. It feels like a sharp hurting pain. When I usually cramp, it doesn't hurt like this. I have had my period before, I'm seventeen years old, and so I'm used to feeling cramping from time to time when I have my period. I've been having discomfort there for the past week. Before I passed it off as premenstrual, but I'm not really sure.

Could it just be some discomfort because of uhm.... poop? What can I do to relieve the pain?

Answers:

Not to scare you or anything but you might have cysts on ur ovaries. I had the same problem (I think) and went to the doctor and had an ultrasound done but they didn't find anything (she said it might be ovarian cysts).

So I looked up ovarian cysts on the internet and it said they form every month but go away when you get your period.

It's very common for young people to get them and not very harmful.

I would go to the doctor anyway and get checked out. It's better to be safe then sorry!! :D

Good luck :D

your fine
